Pastor Jordan and Melissa live in Oswego, Illinois with their daughters Hannah and Hallie. They were both born and raised in Canton, Ohio. They met each other while attending high school, and they have been together ever since. After college, Jordan and Melissa both felt a strong call to go into the ministry.

After getting married, they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. While attending school, they were actively involved with the Prayer and Healing Center, ministering and volunteering in various capacities. Upon graduation they were ordained and separated into the ministry by their Pastors, Michael and Barbara Cameneti, of Faith Family Church in Canton, Ohio.

In the beginning of 2004, God began dealing with Jordan and Melissa about starting a church in the Chicago area. After visiting in April and praying about what to do, they knew that they were to establish a new church in the Chicagoland area in order to reach the people living there with the gospel. So Chicagoland Family Church, Inc. was born! As pastors, Jordan and Melissa are devoted to helping Christians discover from God’s Word their full potential in life and all that God has made available to them through redemption. They strongly believe that the people living in the Oswego area are going to be mightily used in helping to fulfill the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus Christ, reaching not only Oswego and Chicagoland, but the entire world.


A message from the pastor…
Melissa and I are dedicated to helping people learn about Jesus Christ and all that He has accomplished for them in His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. Our goal is to show people, from the scriptures, their full potential in life as a Christian, and what God has made available to them through redemption.

We know, from our own personal experience, the revolutionizing power and love of Jesus Christ and we are so excited about sharing Him with others. We believe that as Christians put into practice the truths found in God’s Word, they will build stronger marriages, successful families, and excel on their jobs and in their careers. God has provided a life of victorious living for every one who believes in Christ. It is so important for Christians to discover all that they have been given through the work of the Lord Jesus so that they can enjoy and partake in it.

I believe that the focus of every Christian should be to walk in all that God has made available to them and at the same time fulfill the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus. In other words, our vision is to reach the individuals and families living here in Oswego and in the Chicagoland area with the gospel so that they can be strong and impact their world. The fact of the matter is that Christianity is much more than a religion. It is a brand new life of victorious living that brings great blessings to the people of the world!
